I have always liked the Armor All leather treatment.I have owned nothing but leather equipped cars.

I have compared it to other products out there and even tho it's among the cheapest, it works well:

Goes in easyDoesnt seem to attract dirt

Tough call. I like both Meguiars and Mothers. I use the Formula 2k1 for vinyl and plastic, etc. too.

when we first switched over to this Vbulletin I had a Brasky quote in my sig. It was the whiskey and syringe thing. I took it off though because i didn't think anyone knew what the heck i was talkin about.

I've carried all my faves from my show-car days over to my Q:

Lexol cleaner and conditioner for the leather.

Mother's Clay Bar, followed by Meguiar's Gold Class Polish and Zymol wax (ONLY)!

"Invisible Glass" aerosol for the glass and rims.

Simple Green for the engine.

Anybody got a good product for use on the brightwork surrounding the side windows on the Q??? I think it's made of tin (or some other non-plated metal). I've tried Mother's already, which proves it's not chrome or aluminum...

Actually, you're right.

I have just started with the Zymol (used it once) and really like what it does for the finish. However, I may go back to straight carnauba, as it seems to hold up longer and prevent adhesion of road dirt.

Wait 'til you smell the Zymol... If I ever run across a girl with some of that on her, she's in for it.:boink

I also really like the smell of the Meguiar's Quik Detailer spray (which I use in conjunction with the clay bar).

personally I have tried loads of polishes and waxes, having been into show custom bikes at one time, I like mothers wax, but I have tried liquid diamond and butterwax. which are both good for show shine, and quick to use, in the UK we use Solvol autosol for chrome and alloy polishing, nothing beats it. Mer is quite good, but I dont rate it with mothers. Theres a new matt dash cleaner that sounds good , might try it this weekend. dash polish is ok except when the sun shines.

I use most of the brands you guys listed above, personally meguiars is my favorite. But when it comes to waxing, I usually like to use the color coordinated wax made by turtle wax. This stuff is a blessing if you own a dark-colored car, you don't get any of that little white cakey residue you find in regular waxes, wich is a pain in the *** to get out of little cracks. Plus it comes with this little chip stick which actually works pretty well for minor scratches, you just have to let it sit for a while and buff it out . But after using this stuff, your car's surface will feel like silk

I'm cheap when I go to by stuff to clean my car with. I use Tuff Stuff to clean the seats with, works good for me; Windex on my windows; and Armorall on the rest of inside and on my wheels makes them shine, cant think of another word for shine. But that works for me. I dont want to dish out no more than I need to spend just to clean my car.
