ANY HELP anywhere is MUCH appeciated.

Notice the scratch to the right of the head unit, id like to fix that, any suggestions?

missing switch cover

would the 01+ qx4 piece fit here? with the chrome?

who else here has major rust in this area. the qx4 is flawless for its age with rust, except this part. Im gunna get a body shop to fix it soon but for now i covered it up, looks much btr than a rust patch for now

this isnt even noticeable...any solutions to remove this before it gets noticeable?

other side with rust too...my s***ty quick coverup i did in november...actually slowed down the rusting. gunna repaint my wiper arm soon too

this panels been missing since i first got the q!

what can i do to cover this damn hole

i need NEW ones.

thats pretty much all thats wrong with my q. alot to take in eh lol heres some new pics i just took!

Im getting $1850 back on my tax return, all of thats going to the q. new tires/maybe rims, fix the rear hatch with either paintjob or get a 01+qx4/pathfinder door (would that fit? itd be a COOOL mod!) and install new sparkplugs, maybe finally get at the o2 sensors, and maybe a new performance muffler later on for a more truckey sound. My baby is going to last forever, just about to turn 120,000 kms (like 70k miles)

On the scratched dash piece you can either try a silicone solution to make the lighter parts (scratches) "disappear" or become less noticeable, or paint that panel and try and match it to other panels which may require the same paint to match, or replace it. Scratched molded texture plastic is difficult to return to "new" condition without destroying the look of the panel. There are plastic polishes (Novus), but any polish will smooth out that area and take away the texture. Your cheapest route is to try and make the scratches blend in.

The rear ashtray hole is best covered with the ashtray door that goes there.

The rear glass round thing with the staing might clean up with some "Barkeepers best friend". It is a cleaning product that is used on things you find in a bar - glass, brass, etc. It is mildly abbrassive, so make sure if used to completely rinse that area. Other things might be WD-40, goo-gone or even rain-x. You can also try a clay bar in that area and see if the bar removes any surface contanimants.

That's all I got.

thanks guys keep the tips coming

as for junkyards...duh i know just wondering if theres anywhere online. as popular as the qx4's in the gta are i heard theres rarely any in the junkyards unless its been in a wreck...ima call around and try to find one!

you guys think a pathfinder hatch would fit mine? or a 01+ qx4 hatch? im starting to think itd be easier to just buy one from a black r50 in decent shape without rust instead of repainting all of this one

same with the chrome 01+ qx4 door sills...those are niiice

Most of the pieces you want would survive a wreck just fne. And do some checking around, you may find there's a junkyard that gets a lot of Nissans.

Of course! It makes perfect sense. These things are so damn reliable that the only way to put one down is to crash it hard, and they are impossible to steal so you dont ever find theft recovery QX4's in the junkyard

the interior is always fine in a crashed one..... its the exterior thats messed up this ones been in my local junkyard for a while now.... nitice no drivers side tail light.... yeah i bought that a year ago and they still haven't parted anything else out on this truck since then the interior on this QX4 smells like factory new.... i was shocked. it took me back to the first day I had my QX4, it was the same exact smell!!

i'd get the pieces for you but its tan interior!

Try Cooksville Auto Wreckers. I found some tailights there a couple of years ago, they had a wrecked Pathfinder. Like you said it is rare to see R50's at the wreckers however you may get lucky. Also try kijji, sometimes people part out vehicles.

Im also planning on doing some touchups to mine as well.....pwr antenna and oem exhaust tip.

Hey as for junkyard parts, theres a place in Milton on 6th line called Mega City auto wreckers (megacity may be one word) and theyve got 1 or 2 of your style pathfinders, both were black to. THey were there in the summer both with decent interiors if I remember. Try and give them a call and see if they still have them, it should only be a 20minute drive for you

Its only a few min off the 401 if you get off at the james snow exit

Which junkyard is that? If I ever see the light of day on a weekend again, I'll head down there for some random pieces...

also, parts yards are usually a part of a network of yards and are connected via a database. (How do you think they come up with their prices?)

If the yard you go to doesn't have it, they may be able to source the part for you or at least call around a bit. That biz is definitely a scratch my back and I'll scratch yours one. Word of mouth is like goooooold.
