decided to clean out my KN filters from my stillen intake.

took the small box of oxy clean and 2 2liter bottles of selzter water poured both in a bucket and dumped the filters in the bucket i let them soak for a few mins. then took them out and applied the kn filter cleaner spray to the filters waited a couple mins and put them back into the bucket. after about 15 took them out and rinsed them off with clean water and good as new. now im just going to re oil them and let that dry overnight and put it back in the am. here are some pics.

Nice. How long has it been since you cleaned them?

I clean mine every 6 months. I have a 2nd filter now, so I can just install right away and do the cleaning process another day.

Was your Stillen Intake reinstalled on your new engine?

I was curious if there was any internal damage to the engine since to me then the HFCs could be something to leave off.

I certainly agree to leaving the grounding wires off and as far as the pulley I have seen shaft failure on a large industrial machine (as in very very large) that could possibly have been attributed to previous modifications.

There is a lot of magic in something like a shaft that many don't realize in regards to harmonic criticals.

Was there internal engine damage and did you keep the crankshaft?

How do you like the air intake, is it worth the money?
