cleaned mafs/tb - idles higher now

so, like it says. i cleaned out my mafs, intake tube, rubber piece that connects it to the throttle body, thottle body, and the plate with carb cleaner. my white towel pretty much turned black. i used to idle at 750... now i idle at 850-900...

so yeah... i dont think its supposed to raise my idle. whatd i do wrong ? i made sure all hoses and clamps were back and tight, no leaks.

i also throw 2 codes, egr and speed sensor. ive had these codes before i cleaned out the stuff. just wanted to add that in if anyone was going to say, "check codes"

it's normal to have a higher idle after you clean a really gunked up tb.

stupid n00b question now. how long is it supposed to be like that. am i supposed to do anything do it ? or just leave it as

It will stay like that I would assume, you could always turn down the idle via the little idle control screw though if you want it lower again.
