Cleaned MAF, now all warning lights on!

service engine light has been on for a while, codes P0171, and P0174. and truck laboures first thing in the morning. So I followed another thread on here and cleaned my MAF with the battery disconnected. Bought some MAF cleaner spray.. cleaned it and let it dry.. Maf looked cleaner after. reinstalled.. truck fired up, service engine light still on.
taking it on its first drive with the stereo on.. suddenly only music comes out of the rear speakers and all the dash warning lights came on?!
truck was still running fine
then today just the abs and service engine light were on... then the music again only played out of the rear speakers and all the warning lights came on?
wtf is going on?

Pretty much sure it's coming from your battery poles... Clean them up properly, remove all green stuff if any and re-tight everything up..

thanks, just cleaned the terminals and there was some corrosion!
would have never thought of checking them.. thought i screwed something with the MAF

no more dash lights after driving it, just the old service engine light from my MAF

you will need to clear the code manually with an obd2 tool... or i think after a couple of days, it might come off by itself... but it will take some time for the computer to realize everything is now fine (if the maf issue is really fixed..)
