My mum is the shop at home Queen... Everytime I see an infomercial I know my mom has bought a dozen of the wacky useless invention. So every time I visit she tries to push her schwag on me...

This week....[IMG][/IMG]

This thing is awesome!!! Cleans the windows without streaks and no contortion act to get every spot front and back. Highly suggest you all buy this little dumaflatchy thingamajig for yourself...

I wish I had thought of this thing.... This guy is going to be rich!!!

Just when you thought that a good cleaner and a towel were too difficult.

Never said it was too difficult wiseguy... This thing just makes it a breeze with no solvent and very little effort. And maybe your levell of OCD is lower than mine when it comes to cleaning... I do put a lot of effort into getting my windows spotless/streakless inside and out...

But if you prefer using a towel that's cool... do you rub sticks together to light a fire? Cause that works too... Or is that "too difficult"?

When I wash my own car (I rarely do anymore as its size makes it a bear to wash), I simply dry it off with microfiber towels. A towel that is lightly dampened from wiping up some water provides a very easy streak free shine on the windows. The only reason I ever use any kind of a cleaner (Quik Detail) is because I keep it around for more stubborn stuff and it happens to be in a spray bottle. Otherwise, water works great for windows. I haven't used a window cleaner since the 90's. Except for hard water spots, water is a perfectly good window cleaner.

For the inside I rarely use anything but a towel in the morning (a little bit of dew in the morning most of the year). On the outside I use Stoner.

I have been thinking of getting one of these at Walgreens (ten bucks) since I find it hard to get the window clean at the bottom. My other car is much worst (300 m) as it has a much bigger window. Wish I had one of these for my 68 Ford Galaxy fast back when I had it for the rear window. What a nightmare that window was.

Good for your Mom, just wish I still had one (or Dad) to get me nifty things.
