I bought a clay bar a month or two ago and have never gotten around to clay barring my Z until yesterday. My buddy (Dan - 240sx2nr95) was already clay barring another persons Z when I got to his house. Lets just say that everyone who hasn't clay barred their Z yet, should. It makes an amazing difference.

This made me laugh. It was raining at auto-x last Sunday and so the dirt collected around my number.

Party clay barred Z.

Washed and ready.

So after we got done clay barring the Zs, his dad came out and told us there was a storm moving in about 20 miles from us. So we rushed to put a coat of cleaner wax on the Z's and everything before the storm came. I think that is the fastest I have ever waxed my Z.

And then we found out 70mph winds were coming with this storm, so we hurried up and got the Z's (and a buddies Evo) to a nearby car wash.

After the storm passed, we went back to my buddies house and we dried of the Zs.

Now onto my goodies I received in the mail.

-Hawk HP Plus pads (yes, they are race pads, get ready for lots of squeaking while driving on the street!)- Techna-fit SS lines- Motul RBF-600 brake fluid (516 degree boiling point)- Speedbleeders

Clay barring FTW. The Z looks great! You'll have to let me know how those pads grab, thinking about them for when I upgrade the brakes on the Conquest.

Has anyone tried that new Turtle Wax Ice Liquid Clay Bar? If so, how were the results? Sometimes I think that the lazy way is never as good, but considering how lazy I am, I may try it. Actually, having the time to do it is more the issue. I'm thinking that I'm going to try it on my Mustang. She needs paint anyway...
