Ok I created the classifides thread, Lets see how it works! thanks for everyones input

Some of you know, some dont. Im the new full-time moderator for the RB forum so Im going to do my best to clean it up and make everyone happy.

Owning a RB myself i know how hard it is to find parts in 1 good resource so I am wondering if we should allow classifides threads in here. I figured it would be good to just ask you guys and see what your opinions are. So, should we allow classifides threads? yes, no, or just have a sticky "FS/WTB" thread at the top thats open to everyone.

oh yea, ill run this poll for a few days depending on the response.

I think NO.

I would vote to actually make another section on NICO for RB parts. I don't think that we need them cluttering up this forum. And a sticky would be messy once a lot of people posted stuff for sale or things wanted in it.

Yes,Makes it easier to search for RB parts, Freshalloy has one in their RB forums and it works well. However it must be for the ad only, no discussions.

I agree, just have the person leave their email or im address and all negotiations are to be held in private.

ok so the general consensus so far is a stickied thread with NO responding unless more information is needed, correct?

even setting some rules that will leave all the needed info. as long people follow it, then there wouldnt be any chatter up there. maybe just take emails, and update the post. and when its sold, update with sold.

I agree with the sticky classifieds. I have been on other forums who have done this and it has worked well. Here is an example of a site that has been doing it for years. " TARGET="_blank">http://forums.clubsi.com/showf...e=0 They actually have it as a forsale and wanted thread. We could have it in one thread like that or do it in two separate threads. Also they Create and erase the post on a monthly basis to clear out old posts.

i think it would still be better to have a somewhat cluttered thread with NOTHING but RB parts than having to sift through all 240sx/SR/CA/KA parts to find what you need.

us RB owners have a hard enough time finding parts

otherwise i'd rather have a section for just rb classifieds as they are sorta more rare and its hard to weed thru other peoples ****.

Because some people dont know how to spell properly which makes the "search" button useless.A classified section inside the rb section is a great idea!! it makes it just alittle more easier for people to sell their rb parts and find their rb parts instead of having to sift through the parts classifieds.... some people just dont have time to sit for 30 mins and look...Do it Kamin... U know you wanna

lets see how this works first, i dont think there are enough people with RB's to deserve its own classifides section.
