I just wanted to verify that a direct stock replacement clutch for the CA18det transmission is a ka24de clutch kit? Will the ka24de clutch disc itself fit over the CA pressure plate? If someone did an even more thorough search, please provide the link. TIA.

Terminology is a bit backwards.....

The KA clutch disk will work on a CA flywheel. And then the KA pressure plate will bolt to a CA flywheel and cover the disk. The only thing you have to do is redrill the pressure plate. The are physically the same size, but the mounting points are a tad different.

Or you could go either of the two easiest routes known to man. Spec Clutches makes RWD CA clutches, you can buy one from them, or you can buy my Spec Stage 1, 285 to your door and will hold 290 ft/lbs of torque too.
