This past weekend, on Father's Day, I entered Clare in a car show put on for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The car show, called . Cruisin' Towards Cures For Campers, hasn't been around for too long, but I went down to support a cause and not to get Clare in the spotlight.

I have lots of pictures, and I don't know if I'll load them up all, but there were some cars that I liked and you'll at least see those. We didn't stick around for the whole show and left before the winner was announced, but I've said it once, and I'll say it again. I don't give a damn about trophies. That's not what this car was built for. It was built to enjoy, and that's what I, my wife, my kids, my grandkids and my friends have done.
I'll start off with this picture.
This is Carri Wilborn, who you've hopefully read about in the link above, taking a seat and fastening up in Clare to take her for a little spin.

That smile on her face was worth letting her behind the wheel.
And here's a picture of my wife of 36 years next to one of the banners. I owe her thanks as she's stood by and let me get this car done the way I wanted while dropping more and more money into it. But, she's been supportive of my dream. Love ya, hun!

I'm not going to go into a lot of detail about all the pictures, but I'd like to point out a few that I really...REALLY...liked.
1967 Jeep M715.
Dana 60 in the front converted to 8 lug, factory Dana 70 in the rear converted to 8 lug.
Chevy big block (if I remember right) power plant.
When he pulled in, he was talking to the event organizers discussing a place to park. I flagged him over to the space next to the wagon.

An absolutely STUNNING 1969 AMC AMX with Go-Package.

And here is a very beautiful 1941 Ford coupe. Only a couple of pictures, though. Sorry.

And a little treat for our little corner of the internet.

And, now on to the rest of the photos. ENJOY!!!

And some obligatory pictures of the old girl.

And, here she is rubbing elbows...errr...ummm...bumpers?...with some Hooters girls.

All in all, it was a good weekend. Also got to see my sister-in-law, as well.
Ya'll take care now, ya hear.
