To All on NICO that have followed Clare (SS Going Broke), we have a vacation up-date. The railroad has granted my request for an April vacation so Sherri and I, led by Clare and chaperoned by our black lab Brandy, should be pulling out on time…unless Clare has any health problems unseen at this time.

We are planning to meet up with “AZhitman” and his beautiful wife “nissangirl74” when we get to Arizona as a homecoming for Clare, and maybe look up Mr. S., the guy that may have started her life toward me and not the one I bought her from.

We want to meet up with Greg as it was he that first test drove my car, then was kind enough to buy it as my agent and store her until I could arrange shipping home. So I feel it only fair that after we meet and glad hand (shake hands) that Greg get to drive her some, don’t you?

On our way out we plan to also meet up with another NICO member that followed Clare’s rebirth and that would be “Solar Runner” if he has the time when we pass by. We do not plan to put people out of their time slots just for us, as we understand people work for a living and at times can’t just drop what you are doing to do something else.

Then our clan plans to see Route 66 on the way home as best as we can. Like I said before: old people with an old dog in an old car on the old mother road. What better way to travel; one guy and three women (wife, dog and car). Boy, am I screwed! LOL!!! Too much estrogen and nowhere near enough testosterone. That is what I get for a life of G.O.B.dom! (I still giggle whenever I drive Clare, so no big deal!).

May your new year be happy and may you see your way toward the route that “He or She” (said this way as I don’t know and do not want to upset a power I can't fully understand) has mapped for you. May AAA be on your shoulder or something just like it. And may your insurance be forgiving and your tires glide ever so smoothly over life’s potholes.

Becky, we have been going over and over this trip to try and see if we have missed something in planning, from meeting you and Greg, to hooking up with George on the way out if possible. And if not, to catch him on the way to Rt.66 and home. I just hope that the places we find to stay overnight in have no problem with dogs. If they do, on down the road we go. There are a few places I would like to find when we are out there. One of them is 3116 S. 52nd St. in Tempe, this is where my interior came from, and I do need to stop in to see them. Plus the man that started the build way back in 2002 or so, by the name of Sam. He and I have talked and he said to give him a call when I get out there, if that is alright with you and Greg. But the main point of this trip is for you two to see the after because you’ve seen the before and fair is fair. That and I still owe Greg a face to face thank you and that updated drive so he can compare, that’s just the way I am! And you are welcome to test her also.

And Sherri and I want to drive Rt.66 in "Clare" with our dog before it is to late.

I missed your original post, but sure would like a chance to meet the 4 of you - I hope it works out that way. Should be a fun trip for all involved.

George, we will be leaving IL sometime on Saturday the 14th of April, coming your way. Depending how the “Clare” behaves, it may be Sunday when we get to you. If that is a problem, then we will stop on the way back toward Rt.66 to meet you. Neal gave me a contact number for you and I know the name of the city you are in. When we get going I will get a hold of you and get your address for my GPS.
