Does anybody play it? I think it's a pretty fun turn based game, still lots of strategy involved but it's not as fast paced or hectic as a RTS game which is what I play a lot. If anybody never played it before you basically control your civilization from the stone age to current time and beyond. Picking if you are a friendly people or ones who like war. You can also pick a religion your civilization follows and many other things. I had my doubts about it but after trying out the demo I marched down to the store and got one. So anybody else play it?

I've got the game.. I play it a bit.

It's a great game... but I think previous generations of the game were better.

What I enjoyed about the game was the exploration, expansion, war, and feeling of ownership of the geography. I think the game has gotten overly complex and lost the charm of it's original gameplay. I find the micromanagement of cities to be a drag... having to worry about happiness and health is a drag.

In my opinion, they should have put more of the improvement time into the maps and the environment rather than the complexities of micromanagement.
