When I'm Emperor of Earth, all cops will have legal authority to slap kids like that upside the head.

The cop was acting like they were just involved in a drive by shooting. What a drama queen. Typical cop BS.
Really? I think that he handled that pretty well. That was extremely disrespectful and those kids are douches and needed to be brought down a peg or two.

Do you think that one officer would have had any control over a parking lot full of dumb kids had he said "um...could you um....please um....get out of the car and sit on the pavement please.....um...thank you kind sirs"? Nope, but he screamed at them, and they sat down, no force needed to get them off of their high horses.
I agree with Bubba in that theres something missing from the video...

I see cops breaking laws all the time, people as a whole not following directions... at what point does it become allowable to verbally abuse and berate another human being?

If the video is all that happened (and nothing before) I would want that cops shield... Having kids lay on the floor for something like that is obsurd!
Yelling doesnt do anything!

Bmore, the way to control a crowd isnt to think that yelling can intimidate them into compliance, its by showing a strong arm...
By just putting cuffs on people and issuing citations...
Drunk drivers dont get yelled at like that!

dumbasses. Kids are wrong for peeling out and "speeding" off when they are RIGHT IN FRONT OF A POLICE OFFICER. The officer is wrong for losing his cool and resorting to foul language. But I do bet those retards won't pull that dumb s*** again.

I tend to agree. But I think the yelling was ineffectual more than harmful. And if it hurt anyone at all, it was the officer. When you yell at people like that, you just cost yourself credibility and respect in their eyes. You give them reason (even if only in their own head) to feel wronged and thus feel justified in disrespecting you. A few minutes in the back of the Crown Vic and a ticket or two would have been much more effective. Presenting it all calmly and in a businesslike manner actually makes it MORE intimidating.

I still stand my my above comment.
