civic coils on 91 sentra

so a buddy of mine swears that a set of coils for a civic will fit on a sentra. any idea if there is any truth to this as i can buy them for less than 50 bux if its true lol. anyone with real info please chime in

Never or seen it or heard of it, but I don't think I would put $50 coils on any car. I've seen what happens when a spring breaks at highway speeds.

For 50 bucks you can buy them and try it out. If it doesn't work, worst case scenario is you're out $50. Best case is you turn around and sell them for a profit.

If these are those ~$50 Ebay coils, don't waste your money. My friend gave me some for my old Corolla, on top of not fitting into the stock topmount at all, they were VERY stiff. I replaced them with cut stock springs, and had the ebay ones sitting outside my shop. Someone stole them, and they were so bad they actually returned them! lol

It can be ok at times to cheap out of things, but suspension components are NOT one IMHO.

pre 92 civic and any prelude coil will work, these were 96 civic tein d spec coils, they were to small and would not fit in the top hat. so looks like im gonna buy a legit set of coils. if anyone has any for a b13 pm me
