Has anyone heard anything GOOD/BAD about them?? I need to get new tie rods asap and i was just going to get MOOG stuff or the Tein ones but the Tein ones are like the stock design and do not have pillow ball mount ends..I cant find any reviews or anything on these circuit sports tie rods anywhere I thought i recalled seeing a thread where someone installed them and someone else was talking about them being aluminum.. idk if thats true or not and it may have been the megan ones.. I would love to get the Kazama inners and outers if they werent $400 total hah

Anyways heres a picture of them for fun..

While not using the Circuit Sports, I am using the Wicked Tuning product. After 4 months of use on a daily driven car, I have had no problems.I think Clawhammer is using the Circuit Sports tie rods/ends. If so, and assuming he sees this thread, I am sure he will chime in with a straight forward reply.

Im just afraid that (i dont know if these are made out of aluminum) but the MR ones have aluminum outters and having aluminum parts on such an important piece just bothers me... Alot of force + Aluminum threads = Death and totalled car.

I agree wholeheartedly in regards to the aluminum.Unfortunately though, the turnbuckle (on the Wicked pieces) is aluminum. I still have my Tein set-up, and Lord willing, will not have to re-install them.

yeah im really afraid of the aluminum crap idk if the KAZAMA parts are aluminum too those are $200 for just the outers... I mean itd be close to $400 for kazama inners and outers!! AHH lol but if they arent aluminum that would be the more reason to get them but WHy the hell would they make those out of aluminum seriously.. is it that much cheaper for them?? i mean the weight loss is not significant enough to risk totalling your car and your life! lol

i have one from ebay with the aluminum. nothing wrong with it, its holding pretty good except for the bearing (changed both of them with better bearing from aurora)

so i would be more worried about what kind of bearing they used (some use cheap sphearical bearing) that only last for like 2-3 months on regular driving.

Nothing wrong with Aluminum tie rod ends, I've only ever seen viable proof on 2 occasions of them failing. Most aftermarket rod ends are aluminum anyway.

one advantage is that the "ball joint" at the end is taller so it will correct your steering angles if your car is really lowered? the tein ones dont do that. just a thought

Megan tie rods = fail.Grab ikeya formula inners and whatever outters they will allow. The inners are like 100 bux. Check znet for powered by max parts, they have them.

ORLY?

I've had Megan Tie Rod Ends for over 2 years now with no problems. Just because you had a bad experience with them doesn't make them a bad product.

Nothing man made is perfect.

Just because you have had good luck doesn't change my outlook on cheaping out on parts that keep your *** going straight down the road, and around corners. Megan is good for cheap **** like headers, manifolds, and exhausts. From the quality I have seen from their other parts, tack welded RUCAs, ****ed up tie rod ends/turnbuckles I will not trust my life to cheap **** for parts like that. But if you want to, then thats fine with me.

So are you saying that non cheap @ss parts don't fail? I can easily prove you wrong on that one.

Ive been running them for awhile with no problem. Im ultra anal so ill be buying Tein tie rods soon. A friend of mine has the newer designed CS tie rods with the cotter pins, and a few of his nuts came a little loose (come on be mature).

Good thing the pins exist but maybe check the nuts going through the knuckle every month or two for safety.
