everyone is a professional drifter once it snows around here. take a look at what these people have to say about their drifiting experiances. one guy even told me a mustang or camaro would own a 240 at drifting. this is a link to my local car scene. take a look and register to set them straight if you want.

I'm sure Friday made for GREAT drifting conditions. I made a nice 180 slide in the Integra beater I'm driving for the bad winter days.

I am from Cinci and do not know many people at all that can drift over here or even remotely talk about drifting. Alot of those people on there sound really rude, another reason I don't hang out with people from up here.

Rubin - I'm feelin' the love man :D

But I have to agree, overall there alot of rude people in the 'Nati. Up near Kings Island, where I live, there are WAY too many ricer boys. I've driven the Integra less than 60 miles since Friday and I (35 yr old) have been challenged at least 10 times by some youngster in a Civic/Integra with a fart can.

Just don't hold it against ALL of us :D

Rex, we hung out that one time and I know your a cool guy. Of course I am only talking in general terms up here. Too many people here, esp. college and highschool guys think they know everything about anything in terms of cars. That just gets anoying beyound belief.

For example, I had a guy tell me his integra with ls motor with i/h/e and cam gears (no internals, no forced induction, no nitrous) runs a 13.2 at edgewater. he claims "its all how you drive" BS!!!

This is just one of the stupid remarks we get here, there's also a guy who has 2, yes 2 radiators cause his Sunfire needs the extra cooling!!

I know your feelin what I am sayin!

hey Ru why do u think i always hang by my self... like Rex said ihe "I" get many inviations to race on the street and bla bla bla...and if ask about me most say i'm stuck up.. but hey who cares ... my car is all drag/drift spec.. and do i know how to drift ??/ well lets say its a learning process...i'm getting there.. and its easy to do a "power slide" not drift in snow or rainy conditions..

thats my 2 cents

later boys

Carlos.

hey RU did u install those drift knobs yet.... theya re kinda a pain .. hahahah

Sorry, forgot the j/k.

I remember hanging with you guys (and Nicole) when Repo was in town.

As the cool guys with the double cooled Sunfire's running 13's would say, "It's all good".

Nah, mine's black with alloy-ish 17's. Click the Infiniti logo in my sig for a pic. Don't know that I've ever seen the burg with chrome 18's.

We should either get a NICO Cincy/NKY meet in the spring or caravan to either Indy or Louisville/Lex.

Nice 240 BTW

hey carlos, i thought the drift turn knob for my ebrake was a pretty easy install, took me about 5 minutes. i think its kinda funny how the dang thing goes on though.

I am a novice drifter, and after my lsd comes in (hopefully today or friday) I can get even better. It is def. a learning process. The rain and snow helps initiate the slide, just kinda like the braking drift (using ebrake).

Its all good to practice in the snow/rain, not to mention easier on your car, lol!

I am down for a lil Cincy meet with someone of the crew up here, just lets leave the sunfire guy and integra guy out of it :) !

you don't HAVE to remove the spring, only thing is you need to make sure the tabs on he ebrake are pulled out...

Ya, I read that post the other day, there are actually one or two nice people on those boards but not very many, everyone else on there is remedial... the drama overflowith on there... :rolleyes

But ya a local Cincy meet would be cool, even caravanning to the spring meet :)

I went to their website already, didn't really care for it too much, and I don't think they have things totally underway yet. I would wait a lil while before really being serious about their shop.

Thats just me, I haven't heard anybad things about them though, and nothing first hand, so keep that in mind too.

Yeah I heard alot of good things about how you can pick your engine there and I only heard one bad reply about them but that was when it was shipped out to florida.

I'm moving up to Ohio (my home state) after I finish high school. I'll be in Columbus though. Even so, I'll hopefully have my S13 still, or even better my S15! So I'm hoping I can find some people that drift to befriend.
