How do I remove the cigarette lighter from the dash. I want to hook up my satellite radio and would like to hard wire to the back of the cigarette lighter plug.

If you are planning on hard wiring an electrical device I would suggest using an unused fuse terminal at the interior fuse block. Find one that is not being used and tap into that, be sure to add a circuit protection device somewhere in the new circuit.

You can use the back of the cigarette lighter connector to draw power but that will increase the likely hood of blowing the fuse due to the increased flow of current.
