I use my cigaretter lighter in the middle compartment as an outlet to charge my phone. It is not working. IS there anything I can do to fix it or are there other ways to charge phones with a usb outlet?

I assume you've checked the fuse, but did you check it with a test lamp? Visual inspection won't tell you if there's a problem upstream in your Accessory-2 Relay. If the fuse and power are both good, chances are you need a new socket. Nissan sockets have a thermal breaker inside that will kill the circuit if it overheats, but the breakers often get weak over time and fail to reset, causing the socket to go permanently open-circuit.
