Hello .... My cigarette lighter is not working ... Fuse is ok, lighter is new .... Plugged the charger just to see if there is power supply but there is none. Any idea on this or do I have to change the whole cigarette Assy ? Help would be really appreciated.

There is only one fuse per electrical circuit. It will either work or it will not. Agree on checking the contact inside the lighter so see if power is there.

No power ! Checked with the tester this time. Could it be wiring ? FYI, this is a pre-owned vehicle, non smoking and seems like the lighter was never used.

Went to dealership and they changed the fuse and it worked, cost $0. I had put the spare fuse (Infiniti recommended) which was btw also brand new did not work. Tech told me if the lighter is not used with the car charger, it is definitely the fuse

Is there power there and ground on the rim?
I think there may be more than one fuse for the power outlets.
How did you check the fuses?
Visual checks on fuses are never good enough.
You have to use a test light, or stuff like this happens.
