Cigarette Lighter doesn't work. Hook me up!

Cigarette lighter doesn't work, it'd be nice to have on long trips for my GPS and my phone charger.Do cigarettes lighters go out or would it be something in the wiring?It worked before I came down to Carolina this past weekend.Any help is greatly appreciated.

I went to the junkyard to steal one off a car, but there was seriously none there.We have like 10 240's, but no f**cking cigarette lighters in any of them.

So, I went to the local Nissan dealership to see if I could get one for cheap, the dude came back with a price of 71.25(Not a typo, seventy-one dollars and twenty five cents) for the cigarette lighter. I said right to the guy "Dude, you've got to be pooping me, my car isn't even worth 71 dollars and 25 cents. Forget about it."

What else doesn't work on the car? I assume it's plugged in? Could be as simple as a fuse otherwise you can just hardwire it in. wouldn't be too hard it's just a positive and a negative.

i assume you did check the fuse first, if not thats the first place you should look. otherwise its got to be a fault in the wiring. ive never heard of a cig lighter actually going bad. pop that thing out of its hole and check the wires. if worse comes to worse you can just rewire the hot to a 12v accessory wire.
