Regardless of the engine difference, it's a fairly straight forward swap to the DE. Other than the extra cam, and a slightly "better bumper" which could also be put on the 89-90, it's the exact same car. Don't get me wrong, I love my chuki, but to say one is better than the other is just ludicrous. What ever happened to form follows function? Now coupe VS fastback is a whole other story, that changes everything haha. I've never had the chance to ride in or drive a coupe, so I have no opinion on that, but I do think the fastback looks better.

Thats not true...Garbage..ive ripped on plenty of twincams before...neither are actually a "Fast" car. At their age what matters most is which car was better taken care of in its life. And as for the better looking thing thats purely opinion..But i just cant see any chuki looking better than a pignose with a lip...with that being said....CHUKI FAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey hey now, we don't want to hear about your stuffed up pig nose. Got a question for you though, if you were to cut the vents out, would it actually be functional, or would the radiator support block the air flow? May be a good place to tuck an oil cooler.

I whooped the **** out of a 5-speed piggy in my stock AUTOMATIC 93 on the highway, and it wasnt just top speed, it was at multiple speeds, and he just couldnt keep up...

we were both black stock-bodied basemodel fast backs, and mine was not only faster, it sounded better, and it looked better..

lol, you people need to cool it with this shxt before too much attention gets drawn to this thread.

I'll post pics of my chuki when I get around to taking some decent ones. It's only going to be chuki until I can piece together a silvia front, as my chuki front panels are pretty battered.

Wasn't mine you raced. It was probably a poorly-maintained example of an early 240 with a clogged cat. You wouldn't have beaten me with an automatic until my speed limiter kicked in. Mine is stock except for the cat and BRM exhaust, so it damn sure woulnd't have sounded better.

I'm rocking the piggy right now, but my first 240 was a chuki. I loved that car. Pics:

Dude get the hell out of here with that crap....You must have raced a car with almost no compression.....There is no way an automatic 240 will beat a 5 speed anything...especially not a 5 speed 240...Single cam or twin makes almost no goddam difference at their age..

But you go ahead and share your awesome "Kill stories".
