What do you guys think about this car. I thinks its just about the sickest thing I've ever seen on 4 wheels. AMG developed quad turbo V12, 850hp, 880 lb-ft. Sub 3 second 0-60 times. Motor trend just tested a protoytpe version of it. Rumour is, if theres enough public support, they might actually build this thing

Saw the prototype, was very impressed. Too bad I'd never be able to afford one.

Holy ****...doesn't AMG engineer anything that isn't cranked up to 11? I think I'd piss in my pants driving that thing.

If it can actually handle and post good circuit times (a la McLaren F1), I'll have loads of newfound respect for Chrysler.

If it's just a glorified atomic flying wedge that just goes fast in a straight line (Murciealago, Veyron), then the hell with it.

I think I heard of like $250k being a possible price point though, and while it's a buttload of money, for the speed, that's a nutso bargain. $250k won't really even buy a Ferrari 575.

Well actually the price is rumoured to be anywhere from 250K to 850K, so it may not be such a bargain after all. But its still going to be bloody fast, and thats for sure. And from what I've read about it, it should more resmeble the performance of an enzo as opposed to a Veyron (a la it should hold its own in the twisties)

considering that the crossfire can handle 1.1 on the skid pad, and its got a steering box, not a rack, id be amazed if that thing didnt pull at least 1.1G's

I know, but apparently they dont know enough about the car yet to get a good estimate on the price. btw, im surprised no one has chewed me out yet for posting this thread in the 240sx general chat instead of the whole forum general chat... my bad

I wonder why that quad turbo V-12 only gets 850hp. If an rb26dett got 2 more turbos wouldn't it be cranking out close to 1200hp?

The 240 guys are cooler than everyone else and they reply (compared to other ppl) instantaneously!

Unlike in the Altima/Stanza/Bluebird Forum where I most likely have ta wait a month to get 1 reply to a question ...all of that waiting is pushing me closer to buying the silvia and giving up on AWD...

Heh, AWD is cool and good for launches (I assume this is why, I know how much you want to become an EVO killer like myself) But f*** it, get the Silvia! ;]
