i was thinking of picking up a toda lightened flywheel for my sr20det swap and came up with this one... http://i5.ebayimg.com/01/i/01/41/5c/87_1_b.JPG

that clutch was heated pretty bad if it was blued, is it still good? do the chromoly flys go through heat treating from the factory? could i just re-heat treat that out? do you think the strength was compromised too much?

ouch, i wouldn't buy it, even if it was resurfaced the heat has soaked in.

Whoever did this, abused it very well.

whoa nelly! Yeah that's pretty effed up man. Isn't the blue glaze from the clutch material? Also if it's lightened, it'd have a very limited amount of times that you could resurface it.

The blue glaze is heat, it probably went up to a thousand degrees or more.

Its fubared.
