One of fabricator/hacker/DIY guys should make a chrome circle trim kit for the 4 guages on the G50.

I was noticing when the lights are on, it already has a ring cut out, seperate from the guages. All you would have to do is take the measurement and fab something to fit it.. since it already has a ring cut out, it shouldn't be to difficult

I'd definetely pay for one!!

Negative. Unfortunately that would blocks out the pimp lighting at night..

Here is waht im talking about

Go drive your car night. If you look at the guages you will notice a black ring circle around the guages. What I am talking about is a chrome ring to fit over this. It would only fit over this, not the entire gauge pod... Let me find another car that has this. You'll get it then

hard for me to describe

Take a look at the guages at night, when the lights are on. You will see it has a ring around it, on the outside of the guages. We could just stick the chrome ring right in it.. i think it would work perfect.

Anyone know how to go about getting this made? I wouldn't mind pitching in 100 or so to help out with the fab costs..

If you were to do a drawing up with the measurements on it, I could look into having some made up. Don't have a Q here to measure on though...

We'd need a spare instrument panel to take a micrometer to....

Anyone have a set of gauges from a parts car?

If anyone has a spare set, please speak up.

If not, I will get one off of ebay. They are cheap.

If i get one, I want to make sure I'm not wasting my money. That's all I ask.

Elwesso,

I am going to go ahead and get this. If you want to split the cost, that would be cool.

The cluster is $1.00.. I am not sure where to ship it to..

Anyway it shouldn't be more then $5.00 to $10.00 each.

Unfortunately I have nothing accurate to measure with. I can only do the auto-CAD for it, then send that to the machine shop to have made. Sorry guys. Maybe Wes would be able to take the measurements, then forward them to me?

Greg,

Thanks.

Corey, can you confirm you can CAD and send them to be made?

Yes, as long as these pieces stay in the form of something that can be made out of sheet metal I will be able to CAD them no probs. Once things start getting fancy I'll have to see what I can do...
