chrome roof rails peeling on my Rogue

Washed my Rogue on Thursday and noticed that the chrome (paint?) is peeling off my roof rails. My Rogue has been washed maybe 3 times since purchasing and I have not seen this until now.

Anyone else see this on their Rogue with the OEM chrome roof rails?

The OEM roof rails are painted a silver metallic color. I have not had any issues with mine and they get abused a fair bit with the Yakima roof rack I use. All I have are a couple of scratches/dings.

If the paint is peeling, I would take it to the dealer. It may be something that could be covered under warranty.

Mine get abused too, and they have been very durable. I'd say you've got a manufacturing defect, take it to the dealer and I'm sure they'll replace them or re-finish on warranty. Good luck!

I am having the same problem on my 2010 Rogue. Did the dealer replace yours?

Haven't taken it back in yet. It's been so rainy/ snowy/ cold here just haven't even bothered.
