Can my rims be chrome plated? Has anybody had this done?

I love chrome wheels on black. Chrome or black with chrome lip. I've really been thinking about starting some modding. I'm sure it all will be cosmetic.

You can get your rims dipped...not sure on the cost, but it does look good.

Does that give them a bright chrome appearance?

I have two that I scraped on a pipe in a car wash (touchless) :tisk: Been driving for 40 years and never done that.

You may have to get them fixed first...that's something the company might do prior to the chrome dip.

As far as the color, I'm sure they have a selection...bright chrome looks sweet!

I'll let y'all know if I get to do the stuff I want. Right now the daughter is keeping us broke playing bumper cars out on the street. :tisk:

This is the look I would love. Tint windows/remove INFINITI/lower/chrome wheels/smoke license plate cover. Sweet huh?

I need to talk to you guys before I even think of lowering. I don't want my ride/handling/warrantee compromised. :nono:

There aren't a lot of chrome plating companies around anymore.

Out in Cali area couple good ones who can do it. I'm not sure on the cost though.

After my accident , my new rim was sent out to California to get chromed. Willey is right, there are not many companies that chrome wheels anymore. My car sat at the body shop for over 2 weeks after it was fixed because it took so long to get that rim chromed. Since less places are doing the job, the ones that do are crazy busy (at least that's what they told me) and it may take a while. I love the look of chrome wheels, but it can be a hassle if anything ever happens to them...
