chrome grill inserts for 2009

I'm getting my wife a few chrome accessories for Christmas to add to her Rogue. One item is the Chrome Grill Inserts. For those of you that purchased them a few years ago, how are they holding up? It's been my experience that chrome plated plastic weathers pretty badly on the front of a vehicle; especially on a motorcycle, not sure about cars. Before I buy, I would appreciate some feed back. Also, I'm finding them from $69 on ebay to $140 at some other places but don't know why the difference in price. I did find one Polished Stainless Steel for $70 but don't think the luster would match the center chrome part. Anyway, any advice/information would be appreciated.

In case anyone is interested, I found that most of the grills are made by the same company, Coast to Coast. The part number is IWC GI66. So, the $69 one is the same as the $140 ones. I received the $69 one before Christmas, and the finish is really good.
