Chrome Fender Trim Removal

I am looking a q45. It is a 1995 with 115k. The guy is asking 4999 which is too much, I told him I could not pay over blue book which is between 3800 and 4200.

Anyways I cannot handle the feder trim. I searched and did not find anything about removing the trim.

Has anyone done this with success? The car has only been in NV and CA

A couple guys have purchased Q's with this "add-on" chrome trim and had success removing it.

Search for posts by Jesda and I can't remember the other guys name, but he has a burgundy Q.

The real question is how much and what was used to adfhere the trim to the car.

Thank I searched for Jeseda's post. The links were dead. I will just have to look at it I guess sounds like some where glued some were screwed. I will not buy the car if someone screwed them from thebackside of the fender.
