You know, Christopher Reeves was more than a spokesperson for the fight to cure paralysis. He was an acclaimed actor that even actors loved. He was a great husband and father. Living in a world where the people with the naughtiest secrets were always in the spotlight, this man was in the spotlight because he wouldn't let a debilitating condition stop him from doing what he loved. I wasn't hurt when Chris was thrown from that horse in 1995. Yet, I was torn up when he made his first TV appearance more than a year later and the man I knew as Superman growing up, needed a device to help him breath. I wasn't sad because I felt sorry for him, I was sad because he put more into fighting paralysis than most of us put into anything. He was still Superman and he proved it. Chris' son has just broken into acting. To the Reeves Family, from ours, God bless you and be with you in your time of bereavement.
Vaya con dios, Chris.
