Hey I don't know if this has been posted before. Just thought it would be coo lto see wat every1 would want on their coupe. Lets keep it down to 2 items because I know every1 would have a list of maybe 100 mods. Well as for me I would like my coupe 1st lol... but my first 2 mods would probably be :

1 - Tints

2 - Lowering springs ( about 1 inch )

Tints (my xmas present to myself next week!)

Fog light wiring harness (was told by Nissan tech that it isn't there)

Side markers (it would be cool to have a 2.5 with those)

rims (got em picked out!!---waiting to save up and xtra 1000 + tires$)

HID? (still a mod I'm considering)

Custom satellite radio fabrication in front cubby (my winter project)

I'm getting HIDs for sure.

Mike, so you confirmed that the harness is not there? That is rather strange...seems like Nissan chose the least expensive way. Still doesn't make sense to include fog light cut-outs with no harness.

Yeah--I looked 3 times; had a tech crawl under and look. Nada. He said that they would be right above the cut outs and easily visible through the holes in the splash guard. First Nissan he had ever seen w/o harness. Way too much labor to have one installed. The harness is wired to about 7-8 other things in engine also controlled by BCM.

Whats happening with your insurance/coupe replacement?

If I had an xtra 30k, I'd buy you a new coupe in a heart beat!

That's probably not going to happen, but if you're ever in Cheyenne, hit me up and I'll buy you dinner!

Thanks Mike!!!

Well Guys, its been hard. I just sent my first car payment and I havent driven the car for more then a week. Pretty sad.

My insurance came out thursday to see how bad the damage was. He came and then realized he did not have the car in their computer yet so he could not give me a quote. Well he ended up e-mailing my dad with a quote of $8K. I think he must be smoking the funny stuff cause I see this costing WAY more!!! Plus I dont know where they will get the parts???? This situation is crazy! I'm paying for a car that I'm not driving! So frustrating! But what can I do?? I think I'm going to call a few body shops and have them come down for estimates and see how bad the damage is. I'm just worried that later down the road My A/C is going to give me troubles. I'm going to firm up with my insurance! This needs to get resolved soon, something needs to happen....... and Mike if I am ever in your area I will for sure take u up on that dinner! As far as hitting it? Someone already hit my coupe!

There will be no more hitting it! haha. ( I hope)

Hey V!

So your insurance wants to fix the car, not total it, huh? That's too bad. I was hoping they would just get you a new one.

Have you been with this insurance company for a long time? You SHOULD get tough with them...don't let them jack you around.

p.s. Just ordered 6k Xenon HID kit!!

My X-mas wishlist:

1. Intake (Injen)2. Exhaust (Nismo is really what I want but Stillen is a more realistic goal)3. Nav System (AVIC-D3 with BT, IPOD, XM Traffic Nav)4. Wheels (17's or 18's, depending on style/price) w/ new tires

In total, I probably need about 4k or so for the rest of what I want to do to my car. Maybe in the next 6 months to a year it will all be done but definitely not by x-mas. Unless I can use my cunning mind to think of a way to extort it all out of my parentals.
