Christmas tree on ecu?

Im having some trouble with my s13 right now..For some reason the fuel pump isnt getting power. I did the whole rhd conversion to the car so something went wrong in the conversion. I have the sohc ka24 in it. Someone told me something about doing the christmas tree thing on the ecu, as a self diagnostics test. Can someone explain that to me a litle bit more.

that self diagnostics test on the ECU will not tell you anything about the fuel pump. here is a flow chart from the FSM about the fuel pump: http://nissaninfiniticlub.net/...age=2
