And remember, this weekend we're burning the hell out of your old tires. All of them. With video even.

Mmm pictures, ignore the down baby in the car, thats me....=P Terrible picture, they took it while I was talking and looking exasperated at the same time.

There's the happiness, and my friends have officially dubbed it....the dune buggy, struts and springs next after some real aluminum lug nuts.

They're hideous. Give them to me.

No, in all honesty they look pretty nice. Not a fan of having a huge logo on my wheels, but they do look good.

I see those on alot of DSM's around here. Kinda popular in white, but i like the grey/gunmetal. You now need to drop your car about 2 inches.

NO! for springs go Megan Racing

Stiffer than tein stechs, and lower.

check this out

Megan Racing MR-LS-NS13 for S13Spring Rate - F : 6.3kg/mm Spring Rate - R : 4.46kg/mmRide Height - F : 1.75"Ride Height - R : 1.75"

Now Compare to these springs:

Eibach Pro-Kit for S13Spring Rate - F : 1.84~1.92kg/mmSpring Rate - R : 2.3~2.4kg/mmRide Height - F : -1.8" (eibach site) -1" (jnm240 test)read this. this is what he actually gotRide Height - R : -1.6" (eibach site) -.75" (test)

Eibach Sportline for S13Spring Rate - F : 1.92~2.0kg/mmSpring Rate - R : 2.4~2.5kg/mmRide Height - F : -2.2" / -1.75" (test)Ride Height - R : -2.1" / -1.75" (test)

Tein S-tech for S13Spring Rate - F: 3.7kg/mmSpring Rate - R: 3.2kg/mmRide Height - F: 1.5"Ride Height - R: 1.2"

RSR SUS Lowering Springs for s13Spring Rate - F: 3kg/mmSpring Rate - R: 3kg/mmRide Height - F: 1.6"Ride Height - R: 1.2"

Much better than those springs most people get

Ask Speed N Stylez about it. He lives in So. Cal and told a guy in florida $100 shipped. THats pretty damn far away, so if you live closer, the cheaper ya know? lol

Ok aluminum locking lug nuts are in the mail hopefully, that black 240 fell through so it looks like I'll be fixing up this beast =) I wanna get it repainted black realllly badly, so I'll be getting quotes on that soon...zero-s, looks like we've got a set of tires to burn! Oh and thanks on the Megan Racing info SilviaS14KA24DE, I'm strongly considering that or tein basic coilovers.

although i would reccomend you wait a little while and save up for a higher quality product (tien he comes to mind) if you were gonna get tien basics i would say to get the ksport/d2 coilovers if you dont have enough patience. but honestly you should save an extra 300$ or so dollars and get somthing that is 20x better, ya know?

I know I was leaning towards HE, but had ride quality in mind...is there a huge difference between the two products??

oh well if you are looking for ride quality then i would stick to a shock/spring combo. but yes HE's are going to handle better and adust better and be able to take a bigger beating than basics.

also on thoes megan racing springs, by the numbers you post i would bet they are progressive so you might want to find out what is the rate that the car would generally be riding on instead of just the maximum rate. If they are linear springs thoes rates are WAYYYY too hard for any type of affordable shocks and they would just blow out. koni sport might be able to handle them on a high stiffness setting? i dunno. but thoes are deffinitley too hard for agx thats for sure.

Two things about Megan Racing Springs.

1 - Those are VERY stiff springs, and you'll rattle yourself out of your car, along with every bolt that doesn't have loc-tite on it. Also, you'll shorten the life of your shocks (even aftermarket shocks) substantially with something that heavy. KYB says that the AGX's will suffer shortened life span from anything stiffer than stock. You'll have to adjust the damping rate all the way up on the shocks just so they can try to keep up with the spring. Why anyone would want springs that stiff on a daily driver is beyond me.

2 - I don't trust Megan Racing. I own a strut tower bar made from them, and it's not the greatest quality.

And I lied, there are 3 points to my rant

3 - The megan racing spring rates are so radical from the fronts to the rears, that they'd promote understeering too much. The car wouldn't feel very neutral at the limit, and it will take some serious suspension tuning to overcome the understeer problems I can see occuring from those springs.
