After 2 months of these parts sitting in my shop, I finally found the time to install them. Here is plenty before and after pics..
Tell me what you guys think!

Decided to give the HKS Replica Exhaust a shot. I must say the fitment wasn't that bad, the bad*** sound made up for it :chuckle:

Oh...now the truth comes out.

That is one thing I said when I sold my Camaro. There went a whole lot of birthday/Christmas and anniversary presents. Seems like almost all of my mods where some kind of gift.

Niiiiice mods, great pics!! That was the exhaust I was originally gonna go with to have the true dual, but just something about the topspeed pro-1 caught my eye.. Downside is I have to buy the "Y" pipe separate!!! I want that shift knob too lol glad to see that black beauty coming along so nicely :bigthumb: my presents to myself ended up just being ls1 parts like a cam, heads, timing chain, push rods, mls gaskets n arp head studs. So no z parts sadly, but hopefully this summer I'll get some more parts n some more pics to try n keep up with you!!

Thanks! Yea I'm extremely happy with this Replica exhaust!! I think I ended up buying a different replica than the xo2 or godspeed. If I'm not mistaken the xo2 and godspeed both have 2.5 in piping, the Rep I bought has 2.25 in piping and also doesn't have burnt tips. I'll try and post a video of it later..sounds awesome!!

I love my new shift knob. I was worried about how little it actually was, but once I started driving with it, it kinda grew on me.

And haha thanks, yea definitely continue modding your car. I've been wondering what your next mod was going to be. :dblthumb:

Can't wait for the video!!! Yeah I never really liked the burnt tip too much although on certain cars well certain style cars it looks good, but no burnt tip is the best IMO.. Glad you like it!! N the parts I see in the future of my z are AIT carbon rear add ons, definitely some coilovers (more than likely Megan track series to fit the z budget), and charge speed bottom line carbon skirts. Either those or the more affordable carbon creations side splitters.. But as for now other than driving the z might be on hold for a while so I can focus on my real money pit, the s13. It's gonna be hard for me to not buy more stuff for the z but realistically I should prolly be focusing on putting to use the last $7k I've spent on it lol but yeah do a lip!!! I personally like the stock bumper cover with a good clean lip quite a bit more than most of the aftermarket kits out there. But I would also love vertex kit (-Lang front bumper cover) or chargespeed bottom line or super gt wide which are my favorite.. I'm not much for the front on the super gt either but it would be my choice for a wide kit if the z ever retires as a daily n goes fully built in the next ten years or so lol I also might try out some gloss black vinyl on the roof n see how that plays out. Won't be for a while but you can be sure I'll be posting pictures with any mods to come.

Ill try and post a vid one day this week, just have to find a discreet area so I don't piss off the neighbors!
Yea I'm not a big fan of the burnt tips, especially the knockoff burnt tips. If you get those skirts and rear add ons your Z would look sick! Can't wait to see how it's going to look. I'm trying to find a lip, but everything is just so pricey! My next mod will more than likely be a new lip and rear diffuser. Not too sure which ones just yet.
I also decided to paint my engine bay, covers, caps, etc.. so i'll be posting some pics of that too as soon as I finish! :bigthumb:

Hell yeah man.. They make a bunch of really cool urethane lips for 03-05 that are a lot more affordable than carbon, the make diffusers like this circuit sports diffuser also in urethane.. But I don't know if you've seen that master grade carbon diffuser? Thing is sic. Agressive and clean IMO, it's another peice I originally wanted but a bit pricey..

A nice thing about living out in the middle of nowhere, no neighbors!! Also miles of highway between here n the next town n about two miles till the first turn so I'm free to open her up to a quick 130 after I get outta this nasty driveway.. No complaints, no police n very rarely any traffic, i always make sure it's clear for the entire stretch before I speed. Not worth ruining anothers life for my own pleasure..
A s*** thing about pricey lips though, they take a beating no matter where you live if your daily driving. You can avoid it but eventually it happens.. So if your budgets super tight I definitely recomend one of the urethane lips. I love the look of the n1 style.

Is the HKS replica off ebay? if it is, a review of it would be read by a lot of people.

Is this the mastergrade diffuser you were talking about?

http://i304.photobucket.com/albums/nn17 ... 4bfd_o.jpg

This is the look I'm really wanting to go for..Veilside V1 Front Lip and Amuse Sides. Just don't know what to do about the rear.
I really like the look of the mastergrade diffuser but don't really like the two little loops on both sides.

Yea your seibon looks pretty bad***!
Im pretty cheap so I will most likely go with a replica before I fork up that much money lol

And wow sounds like I need to make a trip to New Mexico to really open her up! haha i actually just saw a SUV the other day on the interstate with a New Mexico license plate, and I remember thinking, "d*** that's a bright license plate!"

Yea it's the Replica and I purchased it from Ebay. And I'm sorry but I don't really understand..are you saying I should right a review? Because everyone has mixed opinions about them. Some people got Rep's that lasted them years with hardly any problems, while other people got P.O.S. that rusted and had fitment issues. I searched the web for weeks before I purchased the Rep, and read hundreds of opinions/reviews from forums and youtube. It all boiled down to me having the balls to try one and hopefully get lucky.

And I feel like I won the lottery because I absolutely love my replica :fap:

Congrats on the rep working out for you!!! N yes I do believe that is the master grade diffuser, isn't everyone's cup of tea but I like it.. N yeah that black z look sweet!! I miss having a black car, it's hell keeping em clean but so worth it to stare at that dark sexy shine.. N yeah our license plates are pretty bright, like the newer turquoise-ish colored plates n bright yellow I think the only other option is patriotic, but I didn't care for any of them much on the z so I just got the yellow n threw a tinted plate cover over it so it wouldn't be so obnoxious on the z.. But it's great out here for open space to stretch your cars legs, though you have to choose routes carefully so you don't tear anything up. All the highways out here are pretty bad till you get passed the bernalio county line then they smooth out quite a bit n you get a nice twisty mountain/ canyon pass before you get to Albuquerque. Beautiful drive.

The more I look at it, the more it's growing on me. And sounds beautiful.
Speaking of a keeping a black car clean..i woke up this morning to go to my 8am OSHE class and some ****sucker egged my car!!! Talk about being pissed off :soap: There were 3 on my hood, 3 on my trunk, and the bastards even cracked them all over my rims. The sun was just coming up, so I said screw class and immediately went to washing her down. 3 hours later I'm finished...egg yoke was everywhere, under the hood, on the a/c condenser, under my headlights, tail lights, and reverse lights, you get the idea. Well when I finished I knew it was time to look at the damage..luckily I got to it before the sun totally started baking it on my car, but there are a few spots where it ate the clear coat (trust me I know my car better than the back of my hand) and I know those are new spots.

Here are a few pics but they are hard to see on a black car because of the reflection. and my phone camera sucks.

I live in an apartment complex so first I went to my landlord and asked if they had video cameras. Of course they don't. So after that I went to a few of my neighbors and questioned them but still no luck. I set up a video camera on my balcony, where it has a good view of my car so hopefully i can catch this douchebag. :argh :bash:

I don't even know what to say I would be furious. That's another nice thing about living in the middle of nowhere there isn't any ***holes messing with your cars.. I don't know what I'd do if I caught someone doing that but I know it wouldn't be very nice.. I'm way protective of my vehicles wether or not they're nice they need to be respected. Good luck with catching those dudes... You need one of those stick death Anti auto theft devices that includes outside protection lol give the s*** bags what they deserve for being jealous.
