My name is Chris and I have been working on a little project that I thought I would share. Let me start out by saying that I am a huge fan of the work that a lot of users here are doing and I love reading about builds. As of now my car is not finished and will not be for awhile that is part of the reason why I am making this thread. Hopefully with this thread will pressure me to do more.

About me:
I'm 19.
I go to NJIT.
I work.
I have a 89 hatch.

The car when I got it had the following:
222k miles
Sr20det red top
- Greddy intake manifold
- Megan tubular turbo manifold
- Greddy Type RS BOV
- Megan 3"
- Stillen front lower support bar
- Megan rear lower tie bar
- Upper front and rear strut tower bars
- C pillar bar
- Floor bar
- Rear interior is gutted.
- Walbro 255 fuel pump
- Greddy oil pan
- Silvia radiator and fan
- Short throw shifter

So what have I done? I bought the car two months before I graduated with the hopes of fixing it and getting it painted before prom and going down the shore. Well that was my first missed deadline. I did however fix what needed to be fixed. I welded up some patch panels of the frame with the help of my friend, replaced the starter, fixed coolant leaks, and fixed a serious boost/exhaust leak. I did not get to paint it as I was always fixing something else or busy with work and school. But, I loved my car. I even took my prom date in it and got a grease stain on my tux fixing something. The problem with me is when I first got the car I did not realize how much work it would need. I was naïve. One of my qualities is that I don’t like to do stuff that is of poor quality, so I decided to wait and do it right. After driving It for awhile I decided it was time to park it for an early winter. In about October of last year I bought a Jeep and put the 240 away in my garage.

Thanks for reading this, any comments are welcomed.

I figure I will just get you guys updated. So far I have taken everything off the car, striped the paint, welded in a roll cage, fixed interior rust, fixed frame rust, and molded my dash. So here are pics.
