Choppy idle

I hate to post threads like this but I haven't found anything similar, only rough idle, the car dies and so on.I have a S13 KA24DE, the engine performs well except it sometimes runs rich according to the smell, but no weird smoke.It has this choppy idle, it runs ok but once or twice every 3-10 seconds it misses a beat... hard to describe but the silly description is like vrrrrrrrrmmmmm..puff..vrmmmmmmmmm..pff...........

Also on thing, my timing pin point a little bit more to the driver side, not much but some. Isn't supposed to me straight forward?

I know you guys hate threads like this but any help is appreciated.
