Choosing the right CTS for my combo? Any Help?

So after searching the forums i am trying to narrow down which temp sensor i need for my s13 black top (non-notch)

I came across these part numbers:

Engine coolant temp sensor Jan 1994 - Aug 1996 22630-51E00, 22630-51E02Engine coolant temp sensor Aug 1996 - Dec 1998 22630-43Y00, 22630-44B10

1. where can i find on the block which year my motor is2. is there an updated part number that replaces these above3. i have an ecu with the following numbers (which i am told is out of a redtop), is that going to change which coolant temp sensor i need, or will it not mater?

ECU:6223710 50F00A11-000 G90

I have also read about people using the cts from 91 Sentra se-r's would that work for this situation? Thanks for the help!

On a side note my car has been running really rich, and tends to bog. I unplugged the cts and went for a quick drive and the car was a lot better! So i am assuming that the cts may be the culprit then right?

If your car is running off of a 62 ECU you have a early model blacktop (made before June 96). Both of your cts should come from a KA . The cts that sends signal to the ecu must be from a KA24DE( 91-93 240sx). The analog sensor (dash) is cluster specific. So if you are running a dohc cluster you get the sensor from a 240sx 91-93, if sohc you get a sensor from a 1989.
