choosing a colour for the coupe

hey i am completely lost on what colour to paint my coupe. the car isnt going to be crazy built so nothing bright and flashy really interested me. all the interior is black and it needs to be a colour thats easy to paint as i will be doing all the bodywork. i was thinking gloss black but i heard that it show every single dent so that doesnt really interest me. please post suggestions. and spending 4 grand on a good paint job isnt a good suggestion i want to be able to say that i did all the work when the car is finished,

or a white and gold two tone i always think about doing that myself it looks really good especially with the silvia front end.
if its just popups id prolly go with white it looks really good just shows dirt alot so keep it clean.

I wish it was that easy but its a** ugly greyish purple right now. under the hood is being sprayed black.

all the suggestions are good so far. it needs to be something fairly subtle as i dont want any problems with cops.

Whites a good color to stay away from cops, definitely dont go with red lol.
also i wouldnt recomend painting the engine bay black because if you ever have any oil leaks good luck finding them.
Either paint it the same color of the car or go with a light silver or white color

Go to a local nissan dealer and just look at 370z paint on new cars. Thats what I did for my hatch and was really happy with the results. Dont get black, my coupe is gloss black and it does show every little speck of dirt and any imperfections. I've cracked ans scuffed my new paint while autocrossing and it still looks great.

As long as you paint the jambs and the engine bay compliments the color, it really doesn't matter.

All colors can look nice with the right work done. But the best color in the world can't hide a s*** job.

its not going to be a s*** job but it will be a daily driver so o thought black would be good for engine bay and i like that grey but is there any other suggestions, ive thought about the lambo colour also.

Ehhh the pics dont do it justice, you really have to see it in person to appreciate it cause it changes colors in the light. But if you can afford that lambo blue, doo eeeeet!!!

that monterey blue is pretty sic too
