Choking S13 needs your HELP

94 KA24DE S13, cruising the freeway at 70mph. Without warning, the engine stumbles for a millisecond (like a fuel cut) and then it's fine. Return trip, it does it once again. So I replaced the fuel filter and all went well for a month.Did it twice today and then decided to stumble and lurch all the way up my exit ramp from the freeway (got lucky there). Wouldn't idle, and then stopped. Restarted fine and (knock on wood) hasn't done it again.

So it's got a new fuel filter and injectors are maybe 10K miles old.Ideas, anyone?

sounds familar and having same problem. mine would do same hesitation here and there and just this past weekend will not run on road.i can get to start and idle for 45 seconds and start idling funny and then stall.if you try to give it a little gas it bogs down with no power and wont rev past 1800 rpm . it is currently being towed to nissan dealership today for dianostics test.if i find out what it is ill let u know.

EGR is throwing occasional codes, but mechanic admitted that wouldn't produce my choking. Couldn't hook up the whole diagnostic harness due to judicious wirecutting when swapping transmission from auto to manual.

Distributor cap is cracked, so we're going for a new one with rotor, maybe even changing plugs for thoroughness' sake. Who knows??
