My mother-in-law has a 2014 Rogue SV, and I have the 2014 Rogue SL. I've had to drive hers a few times, and I've noticed when I lock hers with the door handle request switch, it "chirps" (not horn honks) when I lock it. Mine, however, doesn't do this. I've toggled the "Answer back horn" option in the vehicle information display, but all this does is activate/deactivate the "horn honk" when I lock with the intelligent key.
Also, I do hear the alert "chirping" when I exit the car while it is still running and/or try to lock using the request switch while the keyfob is still in the vehicle, so I don't think that the fuse for the "chirp" is bad.
Any advice? Thanks!
