After finding a chip last week, I have yet to make it to the Nissan service center before it closes. I started Googling and found Dr. Colorchip. If the pictures REALLY are accurate, this product makes fixing chips and scratches a breeze with no buffing afterward. I ordered the Road Rash kit (which is their value kit). The base kit is not much more than the OEM pen. Let me know if anyone has tried it already:

yup its great stuff! You just apply it to the area over the scratch/chip. Just smear the paint around and let it dry for 1 min. The paint will fill the hole, but when you go over the whole thing with the "prefast" solution they give you. It will take all the excess paint away and leave only the hole filled with paint

I was hoping you would post. Is it really a smooth fill? Does it need a sealer over it?

Super smooth dude. It doesn't need any sealant

Great -- can't wait to try it! Certainly easier than a clear bumper bra

It depends on how deep the scratch is. Someone backed into my fascia after I got it a couple months ago. It left a good amount of scratches on it, as well as a tiny dent in the quarter panel. When I used the kit, 80% of the scraches same out. The deepest one however, did not come out. Its very deep though, like into the urethane, deep.
