So I have been looking around and doing my research and have found very few ecu piggy back systems or just strait up replacements for my 07 (I am not really big on doing reflashes). So I was woundering if some of you could give me some insight as to which chip would be the best for me. I was looking at waiting for the unichip, or getting the mine's ecu. Since everyone has their own experience reguarding chips and what not give me your input it would be very appreciated.

Keep in mind that I am currently running a stillen true dual and I am planing on adding on next month the stillen race pipes and the nismo r-tune intake.

Yuor best is to wait untill you get everything done and even though you don't like it I would recommend the ECU reflash or buying one of the pretuned ones.

since this is an area of moding that I know nothing about because I am not a very computer savey guy, why a reflash over the other stuff? Like with computers isnt it better to have somthing that is designed specifically for this versus "upgrading" to the same thing? I have never totally understood these things so any kind of further explination would be helpful. Thanks for you input.

When it gets reflashed it's actually changeing the code of the ecu. With the piggy back systems you are really just fooling the ecu into thinking everything is ok.

Ya ive heard the same thing, in my opinion i would rather have the code changed rather than fooled.

Okay I get it now. That does make sence as to why one would reflash it. And to think I have been doing piggy back set-ups all these years thats money I probably could have saved. So in your opinion would it go somthing like piggy standalone>reflash>piggy back. Is somthing like a unichip similar to a reflash.

I'm not sure on the uni-chip. Like I said earlier I would go to JWT or stillen and buy the reprogrammed ECU.
