Been thinking about chipping my coupe cause i can't afford a turbo. Just started doing research. Bully Dog seems to be a popular one so far. Anyone have any suggestions? NO EBAY SPECIALS!!!

If you want more power you can start by using a real cold-air-intake. I'm just going by the pic in your sig, but it looks like that will pull in a lot of under hood air. That's no good man. Disregard if that isn't the current configuration though.

A few folks have the bully dog around here. I'm sure they can answer your questions. Take a look around the forums for threads about the Bully Dog also.

Great idea in theory, But there are no true CAIs available for our cars that I know of.

Well, you have a few options;

1) Get the BullyDog. No one knows the TRUE gains it gives you due to no dyno tests done by someone who has it with a 6MT but from my personal experience, I'd say it gives you great power in the mid-high range, really feels like it's pumping out 20-30hp more. The car runs richer and sounds deeper, even with a completely stock setup. The other two selling points are that it's only around $300 or so with a discount which is easy to find plus the monitoring features are pretty awesome.

2) Go to a shop and pay some money to get a real tune "specific" to your car.

As for the CAI, the AEM intake is the closest thing to one. It essentially funnels the air toward the intake and then eats it up.

Got the Bully Dog Power Pup yesterday. Did the update and tried to load to the car. I got a message that I needed to run the update or call tech support so we will see what happens. Hopefully I can get it working.

If anyone has any suggestions I am open.
