I was reading some where you can buy the chipping stuff and chip a Ka24de ecu your self and tune it with software? Does anyone know if this is true. I really don't want to spring 500$ for getting a ECU tuned by JWT. I have done it on hondas so im not afraid to give a Ka24de ecu a try.

This is why I ask. I had read about chipping them and i just came across this.

difference between nissans and those honda guys, is alot of those honda chips were copied, not quite so readily available with nissans.

Browse over the guy's feedback. You'll see the +'s were left by chumps who didn't try the chips out. The guy that did post feedback about the chips said it didn't fit.

Keep in mind you'll almost always get what you pay for. a cheapo chip like that may seem like a good idea at first till the problems and the scam show up.

I was talking about chipping my own ECU. I mean using software to write my chips and everything thing like people do with the P28 ecu on honda's
