Chipped Or Drag Limited

I can't seem to get my 08 3.5 CVT over 115MPH. Are they chipped out? I thought they were "Drag Limited" with a top end about 140MPH.

The 2.5 is limited at 115 because the OEM tires are T rated, which is 113...

The 3.5 is limited to about 140...

There is a product out from Bully Dog that allows you to flash the ECU and remove the rev limiter and speed limiter. Come to the Altima side for more info...

My bad, I have a versa and a altima and forgot where I was when I posted that.

I just checked my tires on the Altima 3.5 and they are T rated which according to my table is 118MPH.

My Versa had H rated which are good for 130MPH but I dropped down to some Cooper CS4 Touring with a T rating for a smoother ride and longer milage.(80K)

You know what...i figured out where i was wrong - you have a 3.5 SL - the SL's came with the 16' wheels, where the SE's have 17's and the V rated tires...that's why your limited to 116...

We need some seniors like you around my town. Im pretty sure at the 1st sign of gray hair, the state sends you a letter making sure you drive 10 under and hold up traffic for miles. Dont forget your blinker for no reason!
