why do you want to get a chipped ecu? maybe im thinking of the wrong thing when you say chipped..but to me chipped is when you upgrade your injectors, maf...etc (when a chipped ecu is needed) right now you dont need that because your ecu is already made for what you are running..are you talking about something else?

in time however, the chipped ECU would need to be reprogrammed again to control MAF, ignition, injectors, etc. running the engine under mad boost will result in lean misfires and if you are pouring in too much gas, rich condition.

HKS F-CON man.

and if you need SRs, i can get you through a shop in brisbane. hit me up.

hmmm changing timing maps without supporting mods? that sounds dangerous? how much are these chipped ecu's? is 15 hp really worth what you would spend? if you want a little more power just buy a boost controller. in my eyes you only mess with tuning when you get bigger injectors, turbo, maf. but thats just me so lets not start flaming. i just dont understand what kinda chip you guys are talking about? if you want a computer tune you should check out rs enthalpy.com and they give free flashes when you need a retune with no downtime to your car. they currently have my comp and are setting it up for 300+whp just my 2 cents.

i totally agree. if u don't understand basic combustion principles -- don't bother getting ECU tuning until u have a power goal, and the modifications to go with it. the last thing you want is to blow your motor.
