Chipped ecu's - who does um

ok im almost positive i want to have my ecu chipped rather than running a piggyback system, just feel better about it, so who does it, how much, are the chips tested with a wideband (i dont want my new baby blowing up on me) also, i want it socketed so i can just order new chips n plug um in myself

I heard a few of the guys on this board does that, I too will soon need some reprograming I think. I am planning to put on an S14 bb turbo or S15 if not too much moding is requried. I think it was Tlexus88 and someone else here.
