Chip Tune Pros and Cons?

Looking into getting my 2010 M35x Chip tuned.

72k miles

What are the main pros of doing this and main cons? Would standard chip tuning disqualify me from getting an extended warranties in the future? Faster wear of parts? Improved fuel efficiency? More power?

Also which is recommended? Wouldn't be able to do myself. In Chicagoland area so if you know any places to get it done and costs let me know.

Nothing.

There is NO evidence of chip tuners being remotely useful on THIS platform. ECU tunes, on the other hand, do.
