Don't listen to the just throwing a shot of nitrous at the car. The ECU upgrade is an essential early step in modding Z32's.Logan76 wrote:If you bought a Venom 400, you just thrown perfectly good money down the drain, instead of buying that 300$ "chip" spend a few hundred more and do a shot of nitrous if you want cheap HP, assuming your not driving a turbo z, then your options are limitless.

Go with the Z1 ECU. I purchased and installed mine about 1-1/2 to 2 months ago and I love it! Its cheaper and easy to install, as it is a plug and play ECU. It also comes with the boostjets. Good luck! Here http://www.z1motorsports.com/p..._id=5speedjunkie wrote:ive beeen tring to find a good chip and the best one i have found so far is

Usually the BPU stuff. I had intake and Turbo back exhaust and my crank pully when I did added the ECU. The good thing is they build it to you Z's specs and you can always have them re do it when you add more mods. I.E. Injectors, Dual intake, Intercoolers, etc...Ill give u a head start wrote:are there any upgrades needed before installing ecu chip?
I'd recommend doing intake, exhaust, and testpipes around the same time as the ecu/boost jets. Those four things will give you quite a healthy jump in HP versus stock (about 100hp).Ill give u a head start wrote:are there any upgrades needed before installing ecu chip?
