Chip repair

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Tiny ( 1mm X 2mm) chip on hood, two similar or slightly smaller chips front bumper after recent road trip. After much online research, I decided to try the "Dr Colorchip", despite mostly lukewarm reviews on the various boards.
Sad to say, the color match is poor, the result, despite meticulous adherence to the provided instructions, very disappointing.
The good news? They are no worse than when I started.
The bad news? They're no better, and I'm out nearly 50 bucks.
Live and learn, eh?

:(
That's too bad. I have one or two 1mm chips that I would love to fill in. Nobody else sees them but I do every time I walk by. Semi-OCD...
