Chip on my CAS.

I just got an SR20DET, and the only thing wrong was a broken clip for my CAS. The pins are not touched, however, the clip is broken just on the right side. I think the connector will still fit and connect. Just wondering if anyone else has had this happen and where to find a new CAS if I indeed have to, without spending $400 on a new one.

Its no big deal as long as the part is still there where the connector on the harness clips on and locks. You will be fine if its really the "right" (when standing in front of the car facing the engine) side that is broken off youll be good

The outer black case is jus ta 'cover' sort to speak..so long as the internatal reluctor ring is ok, you should be ok.
